Traditional Kannadiga weddings have key events like Vara Puje, Gouri Puja, Kashi Yatra and Muhuratam . Usually it is a 2 day wedding for most families in Bangalore , but sometimes families add Mehendi or Sangeet events and it could become a 3 to 4 day celebration. Tamil weddings just like Kannadiga weddings can have a few variations as per the sect you are shooting for , so while some rituals may be different, you will definitely witness , Nischyatartham, Janavasam, Vratham, and Oonjal before the Muhuratam. Telugu weddings have their own unique rituals like Pellikoothuru and Pellikoduku besides Muhuratam where apart from many common rituals the most popular photo op is the rice ceremony between bride and groom. Priests bring coloured rice which brides and grooms throw on each other in a playful manner . In my personal experience Telugu weddings have some of the best music for Sangeet dances and parties .

Besides the expected services of Contemporary and candid Photography and Films, we offer long form documentation of events as well when asked. We can help you set up a photobooth and we can also coordinate and plan for Photobooks after the wedding.
For India and average of 6 months is ideal to book your photography partner. Sometimes we get booked more than an year in advance, but that is rare. We usually get booked 3-6 months ahead of the wedding. 6 months highly recommended.
All weddings are different in size, schedule, number of days and kind of events and rituals. And on top of that, everyone has their own take on what they expect from their wedding. Keeping that in mind we always customise packages for weddings after learning the requirements at length.
Yes, yes and yes. We have shot destination weddings in India at Goa, Jaiselmer, Udaipur, Coorg, Mussoorie and internationally as well. Destination weddings are now more common after Covid as people choose to celebrate with a select set of people and go all out with it.
We share a quick preview of photos in a week. Standard delivery time is 4-6 weeks for photos and 3 months for wedding films.
We rely heavily on experience. After shooting weddings for over a decade in India we are pretty well versed with the various rituals at weddings. Whether its a Tamil Brahmin wedding or a Marwari wedding, or a Telugu or Coorg wedding, we are very familiar with the set of rituals and their sequence. Aside from that we have long chats with the family and understand their plan in depth.
We recommend 120-150 max photos per book, keeping its weight and its life in mind. If your shortlist is much higher than that, its recommended that you split the selection among a few books.
Our standard delivery is Digital Photos through online galleries. But we also do Wedding Photo books (albums) on request. We liaison with the printers and plan your layout for the books. We can also assist with the shortlist, but its ideal if the shortlist is done by the family members.
